Jim Eagleman, Brown County State Park Interpretive Naturalist
Jim Eagleman, the park's interpretive naturalist is a 33 year veteran of the IN Department of Natural Resources. He began his stint at Brown County State Park as a seasonal employee, then became the park naturalist at Turkey Run State Park for 3 three years in the mid-70s. He retuned to Brown County in March of '78 and has worked there ever since. Jim and his wife, Kay have three sons, graduates of Brown County High School and (nearly all) college graduates: Karl from Bellarmine in Louisville, Erik from College of Creative Studies in Detroit and Kurt in his senior semester at IU.
Jim enjoys writing and is now working on his memoirs. In his spare time, he enjoys home repairs, kayaking and playing music.
